Alexa is the mother of all web traffic ranking services. But lately
they have become hostile with all the sites that used their data. Especially they blocked all the services to Alexaholic because Alexaholic had better UI and features than Alexa. Alexa asked Alexaholic to change their name, and when they did (they changed to Statsaholic), they simply blocked all requests from Statsaholic. A digg story on this issue which attracted decent amount of global attention to this, made Alexa-the-biggy to compromise.
